If I encode a ripped dvd with DVD shrink and don't include the 2 channel audio, and only include the 5.1 or DTS, will I still hear audio if I am not playing through a 5.1 or DTS stereo system?
I want to keep the DTS in case I have the opportunity to play the disc on a DTS receiver (I don't have one, my DVD player is hooked to my TV via RCA)
Also, since DVD Shrink doesn't support menus with reauthored DVDs, if I have to keep both 2 Channel Stereo audio and 5.1, is there a way to switch between those two without a menu?
Thanks guys

Hello,
Keeping just the DOLBY DIGITAL 5.1 will work on ANY system because the dvd player (or dvd rom) will downconvert it to normal stereo if a digital receiver isn't available.
DTS only discs ARE NOT compatible. THOUGH most will play them but ONLY a DTS receiver. You will not be able to play it on a tv without a dts receiver. Also you're computer has to be dts compatible to play the dts only disc.
Just leave the Dolby 5.1 track and you'll be fine.
