    AVIDemux

    Load the video, choose "copy"

On the top menu, go to audio, choose "main track", then choose the audio source. Save

With VirtualDub Mod, just 'Disable' the existing audio in the streams list selection, then 'Add' in the new one. You can use Direct Copy for the audio and video if you're not changing formats. The regular VD is a bit different, but same principle.

I sometimes save out a bad audio using fulll processing as a WAV, and leaving VDM open, then run the WAV through Audacity to clean it, then add it back in and save it with the video with Direct Copy. Very easy.

  5. You can use avimux-gui , drop & drag your files in, double click them in the top window to add, checkmark wanted tracks, uncheckmark unwanted tracks & press start - it can't be any easier

With either program, or most any program listed in our 'Tools' section, just scroll down towards the bottom of the page and available tutorials or guides are listed for the programs. VirtualDub has quite a few.

I find VD Mods audio handling a bit more intuitive than the regular VD and I've used it for quite a long time, so I tend to use it more for audio. But find a program that works for you and spend a bit of time becoming familiar with it and you'll find these type of operations are usually fairly simple.

You don't need to remove existing audio. Just select Audio > Audio from other file (choose the audio file you want) > Direct Stream Copy.
