I'm creating a DVD of stills set to music. Premiere 6.5 used to real-time render and preview quite nicely. For some reason, its behavior has changed:
A) If I click the Monitor's "play button", the cursor moves through the timeline properly but no video nor audio is generated until the cursor encounters a video transition (a change from one still to another). Once such a boundary is crossed, the video and audio are perfect.
B) If I manually move the cursor along the timeline, the audio is fine but no video is generated. None of the stills are visible in the Monitor window.
Premiere used to generate proper video and audio no matter where the timeline cursor was or how it got there (whether manually or in "play" mode). I have Optimize Stills turned on, but I had that turned on previously too. I'm rendering the work area every time but that isn't fixing the problem.
Any ideas? Thanks!
