    Hello,

Ok so Nemesis didn't do so well. Unfortunately since it was a good movie.

Will there be another Star Trek movie???

I say YES! There will be because there's too much money potential for the studio. They have a ton of material to work on. And most of the Next Gen and later casts are available for movies - TNG to Voyager

I want another STAR TREK MOVIE!!!! MAKE IT SO!!!

I think it's more likely they'll make a DS9 movie. Why not? They've made movies from TOS and TNG so far. The next logical step is DS9 since they played out the TNG characters already.

    Hello,

    Most of it yes.

What's wrong with those movies???? I though they did a better job of bringing back the feel of the tv show then Generations or First Contact did.

First Contact was WAY TOO OUT OF CHARACTER for Picard and Data. Generations was a little too sappy for Kirk - though the ending was touching with his burial at the end

    nemesis just sucked.

data is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh, but we have a character that looks just like him. lame.

that ******* pointless fight riker has. it sucks.

the whole plot was dull and predictable. we know they're going to trash an enterprise in every movie from now on.

Highly UNLIKELY. They killed off their GREATEST VILLAINS in the finale remember????

Also they shipped Worf off to Kronos and Obrien went back to Earth. And Odo and Sisko left for an "undetermined" length of time (sort of a sabotical???).

    Hello,

Flan - the Riker fight WAS a little ridiculous.

First contact is by far the best trek film. plenty of action, a story that hadn't been done ten times before in an episode, and some accidental time travel that -didn't- take them to a curious era known as......... the late 20th century!

And how can you say it's out of character? had you ever seen picard fight a full scale invasion of his ship before?

    Hello,

Yeah but going wacko like that wasn't in his nature. And killing a crew member??? Going siko killing the borg in the holodeck??? Come on!

And the swearing and the PG-13 rating was WAY out of norm for them too

They can just conjure up a new villain ...an advanced race that is powerful, and, by the way ...that nobody had ever heard mentioned before.

You know, like they did in Nemesis :P

    Hello,

Yeah kind of disappointed it wasn't a full showdown with JUST the Romulans. They never were featured in a movie before and now they were HALF featured here

It was when they first invaded when they tried to break into engineering. After they started the retreat a crewman was infected and said "please help" and he shot him!

Not to mention the whole "INSTANT ASSIMILATION" that they CONJURED UP for first contact. And it IS PG-13 in the US - plenty of "shit" in First Contact - beginning and end

Though a VOYAGER reunion movie might be interesting too - with JANEWAY being an ADMIRAL and all

Of course he did! the dude asked for help, so picard helped him the only way he could! and as for assimilation, thought the voyager crew had helped the borg improve the assimilation process? although the timelines are funky.

Really don't remember swearing - i'll have to watch it again. oh, unless it was the earthy people rather than the crew?

I think a next Generation movie, With Riker and Troi and the USS Titan, I think that's his new ship. They could gather a few of the people from both DS9 and Voyager and go out on a kick A$$ adventure. Just my 2 cents.... Engage

    Hello,

Flan - I think it was the "21st century people" mostly lily - Beginning at the Phoenix -

Picard - We're here to Help!
    Lilly - Bullshit!

At the observation lounge debating whether to do the auto destruct:

Picard - we don't succumb to violence in the 24th century - we have a higher sensibility (paraphrased)
Lilly - BULLSHIT - I saw the way you acted killling that borg - you almost enjoyed it

    There are others.

Flan - In the original Borg episodes of TNG you had to be ASSIMILATED at a table not by the nanoprobes. That was a creation for First Contac - pre voyager

    Kevin
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

Yeah, i remember lilly swearing now. i didn't have a problem with it. it would be strange for picard or riker to go around shouting "bullshit!" but she's an earthy type who's just been shot up. she can swear all she likes.

First contact - Data tells Picard -"To Hell with our orders."
Don't think the BBFC counts that as swearing
