I liked Tasha Yar (TNG) when she was on. But, I don't know what happend that
led to her leaving the show. Then she came on a couple of times. The last
time we saw her was when she was an Romulan. The story line wasn't so
bad there. I couldn't help feeling that (IMO) and my IMPression was that she
was willing to come back for/as anything, just to be on. Even if for an episode.

I hope she didn't leave because of stupidity. Like with a swollen head or
    something.

Don't get me wrong. I like the way Worf played out in the end. He was perfect
for the job (obviously) but still, there's Tosha. Anyways.

As best I can remember, the only Start Trek movie I ever *did* see out in the
thearters was, "The Undiscovered Country" (that was the one where, in the end of
the movie, they showed everyone signing their name, being etched on screen during
the movie's ending credits. They made a send off. That one was touching to me.
Because that lead me to believe that this was to be the last one they would do as
a group together, or any (it had a sort of nastaltic'ness to it) ..until Generations
came out, and that made it a final last one.., so far. Although they did get
away with it, (when they showed briefly, Sulo; Scotty; and Kirk, w/out McCoy) I
don't think that they could do it again unnoticed this time.

Out of curiosity, I was wondering which of the last ones are still around, from
    ST-O series.

    Cheers,
    -vhelp

    That's TASHA YAR!

And I think she left because she didn't feel like she was being used well enough. Can't remember for sure.

    Just curious.
    William Shatner

    Leonard Nimoy

    Walter Koenig

    George Takei

    Nichelle Nichols

James Doohan (unfortunately has the onset of alzhemeirs but apparently still has much of his memory - poor fella hope he does ok).

Oh yea, I forgot to mention Enterprise. I do love this show.
    .
I had an issue about the quality of the video on this show, (blame
that on Digital Satellite) but I no longer have that issue. Now, I
can't see them any mores because they don't come in on my Antenna

    As for William Shatner ...

He's now on this show (Law & Order) and in one episode a few weeks ago, he did
a quick "Jingle Bells" on the piano. I thought it was great. I really liked
his voice in that. I knew one day, it would kick off, when he was doing those
weard voices for the Price Mart.com commericals when they first came on a year
or so ago. Anyways, if you missed it, (the Jingle Bells tune) it was a good show.
    .
Hmm.. Now that I think of it, he's doing an alzhemeirs story line on that
    low firm. How coeinsidental. Anyways.

    .
    .

William Shatner ... Kirk ..... (now on NBC's Law & Order, on Sundays 8pm)
    Leonard Nimoy ..... Spock
    Walter Koenig ..... Checkov
    George Takei ...... Sulu
    Nichelle Nichols .. Uhura
    .
James Doohan ...... Scotty (medical issues, such as onset of alzhemeirs)
    .
Deforest Kelly .... Dr. McCoy (will miss you) -->

If I've misspelled the names, sorry.

Wow.. still a good list though.

I managed to find a number of their movies on VHS (widescreen only) though
I think I'm missing one or two left. I'll have to dig out the list and see
which ones I do have. (yea, I know I can get them on DVD)

And as far as enterprise - NO! Just a few have been good. I've dealt enough complaining about it that I don't need to go into a full rant now...

  5. Well I think they will but there will have to been some changes some people have to go. I would like to see a new crew that never had a TV show get to be a movie just idea of some thing new and fresh.

    Hello,

That will NEVER happen. Star Trek was built from the TV show and has been ever since.

Besides MOST of the TV crews are very good and deserve a shot at the big screen.

Denise Crosby wanted more money and/or to do other projects. She wanted to be transferred to a another ship in the story (like Dr Crusher), instead they killed her.

    Hello,

You talking about the movie star/model???? I think the deal was that she couldn't handle the tv shooting schedule. I also believe she wasn't able to handle the techno talk.

    Kevin

(Kate Mulgrew SUCKED the first three years until they got Jeri Ryan on and then she had to smarten up or she was toast - and they were a lot better after the third year too )

Actually, she's barely in her thirties. Marina Sirtis is the older of the two.
