I have a APEX 5131 DVD player that plays mp3s and mpegs, along with DVD ofcourse. I know that if you burned these files on CD, you can play them on the DVD player. Can you burn these files on a DVD and do the same thing.

Some players do, some don't, thinking every DVD must be a video DVD. Try burning to a DVD-RW, just like you do with a CD-R

My Toshiba 3900 will play the Mp3's in folders on a DVD-R.
