Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
-
I hope it ends too.
I would rather have a tooth yanked out by a door and a string than watch reality tv. -
I doubt it. Last night they announced a new reality show about a Catholic High School reunion ...and they show how slutty the people have become since high school.
It never fails to amaze me how low the median intelligence level has dropped on mainstream television. Just when I think it can't get more insulting ....BANG! They hit a new low.
It all started out innocently enough years ago ...with Cops. Then along came Survivor ...innocent enough. Then there was Divorce Island or whatever the hell it was called, where couples had their mates tempted by sexy single members of the opposite sex ...and the cheating was all captured on camera. Wow ...that's a sure recipe for a feel-good show, huh? :P
Now it's phony millionaires .....phony lottery tickets ...phony fiances .... shameless whoring ...
The pile is getting awfully high -
I hope gilligan's Island sinks...as the rest of them

" Over at NBC, a hurriedly produced second edition of "Last Comic Standing" was laughed right off the network -- its finale ended up airing on cable's Comedy Central -- and "$25 Million-Dollar Hoax" debuted to mediocre numbers last week.
Earlier this season, ABC's "The Benefactor," starring the billionaire Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, proved such a ratings flop that the network wrapped it up more quickly than planned, condensing the last four episodes into two. "
lol. -
Well they will never go away completely, and I wouldn't want them to. The general premise of reality tv is a good one, but the networks are just now realizing that once the craze has worn off, its like any other type of production. Without a good solid plot/theme and good execution, it won't be entertaining.
I like Fear Factor and enjoyed the first season of Survivor. Back in the day, the first few seasons of Real World were pretty good too. Other then that its just ridiculous and I can't keep up with them all. I see that two networks basically have an identical show where two very opposite families swap wives for a couple weeks. The shows are exactly the same! That shows just how complacent the networks have become with reality tv. -
Because of reality TV there are not any really great shows being produced. Look what happened to "Angel"... ratings were some of the best the WB has experienced for that series... they still cancelled it. It's all because of the move to reality TV. Between reality TV and crap shows like The OC and The Mountain... I'm about to hang myself.
By the way... can there be another Law and Order?
Law and Order: Traffic Division
Or
CSI: Roanoke -

Too many reality shows on TV and too much of it.
So, no more as I am sick of them and too many ads too.
The TV Channels got to cut down the trash of reality shows and too many ads.
This is why I don't watch much TV as not worth watching and better on the PC.I am a computer and movie addict -
It's too late for me. Reality TV has made me hate television and I rarely watch anything except for the History Channel or Cartoon Network. From now on only DVDs for me!
-
I like some of them
Fear Factor
Survivor
Apprentice
I even kinda like the Virgin Records guy one. It's pretty stupid how he's going about trying to find his (so called, but never in a million years) replacement by having then do stunts on top of stupid business stuff. He prolly said to himself, "Donald is doing it, so why can't I? I'll copy his idea and through in some stunts to add some cheeeese factor to it. I got tons of money to produce it with. Hey, someone get FOX on the phone." -

That is one of the reasons that I like scifi- it hasn't been too corrupted by reality tv (other than scare tactics and tripping the rift), and the stories are usually high quality and a good use of my time;

i always thought it would be a cool show for bill gates to make somebody a billionare, screw this millionare crap. other than that, DIE reality tv DIE

Dunno about FF cause I cant remember any of the people on it once. They start to all look the same. Plus, I think Joe Rogan has gained weigh & probably got into so naughty-ness with the women. -

I made the mistake of watching this week's "Trading Spouses - Meet your new Mommy" on Fox. They stuck a Born-again Christian with a Jewish family, and vice versa. The Christian woman tried to convert the Jewish family.
Yuk-yuk. So funny. NOT.
I won't be watching that program again.
Now they're bringing back Paris and Nicole in a new show "The Interns" (Hello, Bill Clinton?). More stupid stuff for the airheads to get into. Aren't they cute?Ethernet (n): something used to catch the etherbunny -

I keep seeing a commercial for "Growing Up Gotti". The show about John Gotti's family ...a ripoff of the Osbournes if I ever saw one, but then, they're all ripoffs of another show, basically.
This show is about a convicted mob boss' family (Gotti was a modern-day Al Capone) ..and what it's like being his family. It shows these egomaniacal, spoiled, rich brats throwing temper tantrums when they don't get their way. The teaser for the show has the son, I think, trying to kick down a door in their mansion :P
I like Ozzy, but going from filming a drug-crippled ex-rocker's who can barely speak his own name's family ...to the family of a murdering, drug-dealing slime like Gotti. It glorifies what he was. And people watch it
I'm convinced that the average American is brain-damaged ....what does the rest of the world think of us when we put this sort of pap on TV ....and people watch it in droves? -
