The beginning of the end for REALITY TV?????

There's is plenty of pap on British TV (Big Brother, Holiday Showdown, Changing Rooms, Eastenders etc) and the average Brit is just as thick as the average yank. TV has been declining in quality over here for as long as I can remember.

Since Americans seems to be modeling most of TV shows after several British shows and all of them seem to tanking over here. It shouldn't be too long before the British are enjoying some quality TV that America can just rip off again.

We had the first episode of the Branson show on tonight over here, just firms up my perspective that he's a wanker.

I like some reality TV shows like The Block, Survivor and The Apprentice.

I love reality TV. The reason that you see so many of them now is because it's a fad. TV networks don't like ot take risks, so instead of coming up with new ideas, they simply rip off other TV networks shows and do it badly and oversaturate the market for reality shows with bad ripoff shows. It's really no different than doing remakes of old movies or movie sequals.
