I have converted an avi to mpeg for burning to DVD, however TMPGEnc DVD Author rejects the file due to the resolution. Is it possible to change the resolution and if so what utility will do the job?

Hello,
Use bitrate viewer to double check your mpeg file. It should be mpeg2.
You can run your avi through tmpgenc to get a compatible mpeg2 dvd file.
If that doesn't work check the tools section under lists on the left of the screen for avi-dvd tools.
