Sams has the RCA DRC8005N for $199. That's about $100 less than I've seen it for.
Any opinions on this unit? I'd like a firewire for the camcorder, but I guess I can live without that. The RCA has component input, Dolby and DTS 5.1, etc. Seems full featured except firewire. Don't know about chipsets or anything along those lines. Just want good picture transfers from TiVo and old 8mm camcorder tapes. I was contemplating a Lite-On 5101 (Sams) or a iLO from Wallyworld, but I guess neither has component input. And they both seem to have a fair amount of issues. The RCA is only a few bucks more.
Thanks.

Oh, and I'm only concerned with DVD+/DVD+RW. These disks play on everything I own. Some of my players won't do -R.
