Trying to convert vhs using a usb capture device and rca leads. Video player only has scart out, so been using a scart to rca converter. But i don't receive any signal this way, just get a black preview screen. The scart out on the video player is ok as it will play ok on the tv. I tried a dvd player wich has scart and rca outputs and the usb will still only receive using rca and not with the scart converter. The converter i'm using is similar to this one-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TV-Adaptor-RGB-Scart-to-3-x-RCA-Phono-AV-audio-video_W0QQitemZ290371302750QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_V ideoGames_VideoGameAccessories_VideoGameAccessorie s_JN?hash=item439b7a755e.

I really new to this,so sorry if its something simple.
