They lagged abit in the meny, and stopped for some seconds..
And when I tried to change the subtitles in the menu the dvd just freezed...
    Any suggestions?

    I have this dvd player - http://www.samsung.com/Products/DVDPlayer/technicalinfo/index.htm

  2. Without knowing any trivial information such as what programs you used for ripping, encoding, authoring, etc

Samsung are pretty good at playing most anything you throw at 'em.

Whose media are you using (Media ID as denoted by DVDInfoPro or DVDIndentifier.

  7. how/what is the setup for your backup process. What media brand are you using. Have you tried to slow the burn speed down to 1x? Does that give you better results.

  11. The reason I suggested writing at 1x (the slowest speed), the result would help tell you what the overall problem is.

If the dvdr burned and played just fine, my next statement would be that there is a good chance that your hard drive needs to be defragged and that you should do burns from a non OS drive (ie dont burn from your C drive).

If the dvdr doesnt burn right, then there is a good chance that something is up with the media and or the burner.

What did you use to burn the DVD??? If you are using dvddhrink to compress the movie, try and use dvddecrypter to do the burn. See if that helps.
