  1. Hi All

I have a VCD of a live concert, I have ripped the Mpegs out and they all run fine.

I now have ten separate Mpeg files, one for each song.

What I want to do is join these files seamlessly

I have joined the first two mpegs using ffmepgx but the join does notice.

Is there any other way to burn these ten Mpegs so they play seamlessly on a DVD?

  2. Hi Ya

Thanks for that, nice little program, but the join on playback can still be seen.

Is there a way that I can burn the 10 individual files as a DVD so it all runs as one?

PS: Just looked at the two Mpegs in Quicktime, and the second one starts with a jitter, therefore I assume this is causing the join problem.

I can remove the first fraction of a second where this occurs using Quicktime, bit it seems I can only save out from Quicktime as a .mov file

Hmm, sorry to say but your best bet with what you have is:

    Demux in ffmpegx
rejoin and ( minor edit) in QT Pro
export out of QT as .mov
    mux to MPEG in ffmpegx

If you were a Toast 6 user, and had QT Pro
    you could have :

    demuxed in ffmpegx
rejoin/edit in QT PRO, saved as QT Mov
Burn to DVD from Toast 6

  4. Hi

I have Quicktime Pro and Toast six.

If I demux I am not sure from there how I rejoin and edit in QT Pro, sorry to sound stupid, but I am new to editing bad joins out.....

Thanks for trying to help me with this, but I have since found out that the show is available to buy, so I have ordered a copy
