DVDDecrypter or smartripper. Follow the link to My Guides in my signature or use the Guides section to your left and you'll find a lot of handy guides
    If in doubt, Google it.

...or DVDShrink if you want to do a DVD9 to DVD5 conversion in the process. Some say DVDDecrypter is better at decoding DVD, but I've yet to try a DVD that DVDShrink couldn't handle.
    <edit>Please disregard this - didn't see VCD/AVI was your target format! </edit>

  6. ok ive found the easies way to do the above question is EASYVCD.
now the files are coming out at 777mb, how will that fit on 1,80min 700mb cd-r?
easyvcd i chose vcd cd type = 80min 700mb cd-r, when i try and burn it wont go thru because the 777mb file is too big...am i doing somtthing wrong? i followed the easyvcd guidelines, and it says i should be able to fit the entire movie on 1 cd-r.

What is it in that? Authored as VCD, an 80 min CD takes 800 MB. If "it" is an mpeg, it has to be authored. If "it" is an ISO, you might have to turn Overburning on (depending on what you use to burn).
