    If you get a qcast tuner, you could ftp it to your ps2 though.

    The PS2 can play MPEG-1. It can't play VCDs or SVCDs but if you author a DVD with MPEG-1 it should work.

    I had a few problems with MPEG-1s authored with TMPGEnc DVD Author with a menu, but without menus they worked fine.

    My PS2 model no is: SCPH-390003. Might be different for other models.
