Dear Experts:
I purchased this dvd burner today, thanks for your patience and reading.
My system: AMD XP2600+
512MB PC3200 RAM
LiteON 812s (8x) (As Mater On 2ND IDE Cable End.)
I was burning Video files with a - 4x DVD disc. (file size about 4300MB)
and the process took about 40 mins to complete.![]()
(a friend said it took only 15 mins for the process, on same size of files)(Who also have the same DVD burner and same cable setting)
is this the problem with the burner or the type of disc I use ?
and Hpw does - disc difffer with + discs ?
thank you,
Kev

If you were simply burning files, that's too slow - check to see if DMA is enabled on your machine. If you were shrinking (transcoding) files, then burning, that time frame would be considered reasonable.
