    Hi

I have burned about five or six dvd's from mpeg2 files (which play perfectly on PC) to DVD usi8ng AVStoDVD but there is no audio on them. Please check the log I post below.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I may have missed something, but the log shows that the audio was converted and added to the video files. It appears the audio is "AC3 - 256 kbps - CBR - 44100Hz - 2ch" and was converted to "AC3 - 192 kbps - CBR - 48000Hz - 6ch". I would check one of the burned DVD VOBs with MediaInfo to see what audio is listed. Not sure why it is converting two channel to six channel, but I'm not that familiar with that program.

    And welcome to our forums.

    welcome here. Some questions:

    1. What AVStoDVD release are you using? It should be 2.2.0 and latest one is 2.3.1. Please use 2.3.1
    2. Audio seems to be encoded and authored. Have you tried to play the disc on a standalone DVD player other than a PC?
    3. If you use the 'Title Preview' feature, do you hear sound?
    4. (Just curious) Title 17 is 1 second long... is that ok?

@_MrC_ I downloaded 2.3.1 and I get the same results. I am trying to play the disc on a standard DVD player and I get video without any audio. I can see that the audio files re being encoded but I'm not sure why they are going in as 6 channel. I'll try to use a different audio encoder to see what happens. Is there any other mpeg to DVD burning tool you can recommend?

    Thanks for all your help,

    Aikipaul
