  1. I am having problems playing my DVD's i get this message.

    I reinstalled my Divx codec/ PowerDVD and nothin any clues?

    Found this in Google. Might be worth a try.....

    "Go to Start > Run and type in "dvdplay". If it doesn't work your Directshow Filters are screwed up. Try downloading the latest version of Directx. If that doesnt work your hosed and its time to reinstall the OS. Once the base layer of Dshow is corrupted you wont get DVD playback to work."

  4. Its just a normal DVD i bought in fact i can't play any DVD that i have.

    My DirectX version is 9.0c

    Wonder if it's a difference between XP and Win 2k. Just noticed the difference in your specs. Just found the reference in Google, and though it might be worth a try.
