Hi guys,
I just got my new DVD DL burner with dual layer discs and I'm trying to put my personal movies splitted on 2 dvds on a single DL disc.
Problem is when I extract the m2v files from a dvd with DVD Decrypter, DVD Maestro doesn't accept them (Media Detection Error). That's weird because it works for the first vob (and for the ac3 files) but not for the rest. I tried to demultiplex them in TMPGEnc but it doesn't change anything (the new m2v file is still not accepted).
I also tried to rip the DVD again but still the same error...
Would you have any idea to help me out?
Thanx!![]()

Use Restream (in the tools section). Open the m2v file and check for discrepancies. One that can be the reason of the problem is the timing of the GOP headers. If the start time is anything than 0:00:00.00 then select to reset GOP timestamps (or similar - don't have access to Restream right now).
Save the .m2v file under a new name and try importing that again. The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
Thanx for the help! I will try that and let you know if it works!

Damn, it does not work...
I tried the option "reset timestamps" and/or "zero broken-link flags" but DM doesn't want them (Media Detection Error).
The weird thing is that the first vob and the ac3 files worked ok. The menu vobs worked ok too... -
I've read I could demux the files using DVD2AVI, does anyone if it would solve my problem? I'll try that later on.
