Hi,
Does anyone know which setting is best for transcoding PAL to NTSC
I'm looking for the smoothest possible conversion, trying to avoid Judder effect as much as possible
In Procoder, under transcoding settings / frame rate conversion
Which one is best?
Always interpolate
or
Interpolate, but pick nearest when time difference is too large
The Threshold ms setting is default on 11
Any advice appreciated
Cheers
Scott

Try the Canopus forum.

You need to register as a new user before you can read all the forums.
Without registering the ProCoder forum doesn't even show up. -
well first of all -- use procoder 2 and it is a no brainer ...
untill you upgrade to 2 (which works differently than 1.5) it is a moot question ..
procorder express also will work as version 2 though .."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650)
