I need some help, I am transcoding (to mpeg2) some miniDV footage originally shot with the DVX-100, exported from Avid using the DV Codec at DV25.
Procoder is the only encoder that causes the chroma sampling error, meaning the reds have visible vertical lines (the bright oranges too). Is there a way to fix this?
Are there any filters or settings I can tweak?
Procoder 3 gives by far the best results overall (compared to CCE, Digital Rapids, Sorenson and others I have tested) so I do not want to abandon it if this issue can be addressed.
Thank you in advance.
