when you preview it on the computer, does it cut out? if it cuts out on your TV, its not the video source problem -- its your TV. in the land of TVs, manufacturers purposely make not all of the pixels fit on the screen. why? its a marketing measure -- making every pixel fit on the screen without having large borders on the sides is a biotch, so they just cut off the image a bit so all the video area is shown (but in reality, the video is cut out). you can search more on this topic, its called overscan. some TVs have 1% overscan while some have as much as 10%-15%. i remember my old sony TV had 12% (edited some video in vegas...set safe zone to 13% and just barely made it on my sony tv).

I'm gettin the same prob with some of my fan subb anime. i want to watch them on my 27" but the subs are being cut. they show fine on my cpu though. only way i've found around this is to use tmpgenc xpress to encode as a 16x9 size instead of 4:3 ratio. this sucks cause now its tooo small.
is there any way to manually punch in what ratio i want???? -
Clip frame/add black borders of around 16 pixels.
