  1. I'm using tmpgenc to convert mpeg2 (SVCD) files to mpeg1 (VCD) files. I installed the mpeg2 plugin for tmpgenc, and it is letting me open the mpeg2 files on it now, but it is taking 3-4 hours to do one file, while before i formatted my computer it used to take only about 1 or 1 and a 1/2 hours.. why is this happening? Is it something with the codecs or plugin? I tried installing different codecs and reinstalling the plugin.. but nothing happened. Can anyone help?

    thanks,
    Sunny

How long is the video, and what are your settings?
    Hello.

  3. The video is 1 hr long.. and as far as mpeg2 codecs are concerned, i have the tmpgenc plugin, and i installed powerdvd, so there's also the cyberlink mpeg2 decoder which tmpgenc won't let me enable in it.. and I installed the kazaa lite codec pack and in that i installed the mainconcept mpeg2 decoder. What other settings are you asking for? I think it's something to do with the codecs/decoders installed.. they seem to conflict with each other or something. I'm not sure exactly what is wrong, though.
