When you use a capture card to get the data from you camrea to your PC does the quality suddenly lower? Because i am after a capture card, and i dont want to loose much quality because i want to burn it back on CD for a decent quality film to show my mates.
And i want to know if i am going to have to £100 for a decent quality card. Also do they loose frames, because its a skateboarding film, with lots of action (and hopefully slo-mo)?
thanks

What's the camera output? DV or analog (RCA cables)? DV doesn't need a capture card, but for analog you will probably get a lot of recommendations.
