i'm using virtualdub and the latest adobe premiere.
I've captured a few small 1 minute avis from my camcorder and have imported them into premire (to a default 720x480 sequence). i was succesfull in exporting the smaller 320x240 avis to dvd. both of them coming out as 720x480 resolution on the dvd. the trial runs turned out great, so i proceeded to the actual project. . .
but when i tried to do the same for the actual full lenth (1 hour) project the video exported to the dvd as a smaller box inside a larger black box.
is there something i'm missing?
i've fooled around with it for about a week, and i can't reproduce what i did the first 2 times.
after fixing countless driver and hardware problems, i'm so close to being able to do this. just this one last hurdle.
i'll have internet access at home soon, so i will post screenshots if i have to. any help would be appreciated.
thanks.

sounds like your image is staying 320x240 inside a 720x480 frame. check exactly what filters and settings you're using in Vdub.

thanx, i'll mess around with it tonight and see if i can fix it. -
320*240 is not a valid DVD format. It needs to be resized. 352*240 would probably work without borders.
