  1. My DVD created using MOTV will not play in my Meridian G98. I see the root menu, but I get no navifational controls. I hear the background audio stream and if I select each album using the Track access button, then it plays the MOTV movie perfectly.

    It's just the menus.

I've tried MOTV and NERO to burn, but get the same problem. I think that there's something non-compliant in the MOTV coding for menus.

    Can anyone recommend either:
    1) an alternative package as good as MOTV that works with menus.
    2) any suggested configs etc that may solve the problem.

(The disk plays OK in older players, the meridian is DVD-Rom based. I get the same error using PowerDVD as the PC viewer)

    Try asking MOTV at:

    http://www.picturetotv.com/support.htm?

Have use used other programs that produce working menus? If you have, you could use MOTV to make the MPEG2 files and make the menus and burn with the other program.

I use Ulead Movie Factory 2 to create menus and burn MOTV slideshows.
