  1. I'm trying to capture video from a VCR to hard disk using this card. It offers S-Video or CVBS (Composite I presume) inputs. What type of lead is required for the composite connection, is it the same lead that you use to connect the TV and VCR? I tried one of these but got nothing on the PC screen. I'm using WinFast PVR and it seems to say that once you make the connection everything works. Not for me. Am I using the wrong type of lead by any chance?

    Thanks to all who reply.

I had this problem at first. I went and got a scart to Red/White/Yellow cable. The Red and White have an adaptor that goes into sound card and yellow into the capture card. They are NOT same as TV connectors, although the TV connectors are similar. Hope this helps.

I have this card too but am having a steep learning curve trying to suss out capture settings and conversion settings.
