I have just bought a leadtek PxDVR3200 H and everything works fine except for compent input. I am trying to hook my xbox 360 up to it in High definition.
The only problem is that i cant actually turn the quality up to highdef (720p) on the 360 as it wont come through. Also while it it is on 480p it comes through as a split screen. As in there are two instances of the game on the screen one on the left and one on the right with a black bar down the middle.
This problem however goes away if the xbox cable is switched back to just TV and not HDTV. although this does not allow high def output.
This is a picture of what it looks like with the xbox cable on HDTV:

Any information would be great

It only support 480i with compent input it had do with on board MPEG2 encoder which can't do 480p, 720p nor 1080i/p
You want High-Definition video recorder you need look at Hauppauge HD-PVR
