burning cd problems please help

Looks to me like you tried to burn at a speed you system/CD writer could not handle (48X). Slow down the burn speed and try again.

no how do i do that
my stock dell burner broke. i got dell to replace it a guy came over and it took him 3 mins to install the new burner so he didnt update anything

my old drive was 8x the new one is 48x i might have to update the dive

the buffer underrun happens because your system cannot supply the burner with data quick enough. are you by any chance creating an audio cd from MP3 files?

you can only burn it as fast as your pc can get it off the hard drive. without knowing more about your pc i can't say what that speed will be. use succesively lower burn speeds until you find one that works.

what do u want to know and ill post the info

ok, well a) are you burning audio cd's made from MP3's?
b) what make/speed is your hard drive?
c) what else are you doing with your PC at the same time?
d) what speed is your processor?
