On one order invovling 15 hours of program transfers to DVD
we experienced a 30% failure rate.

Phillips tech support reports "known" disk writing errors,
and offered no solutions.
We did find you CANNOT use media (disks) rated higher than 2.4X,
as this is the write speed of the machine. (Many newer computer DVD burners, run at 4x and higher).
We also experimented with different brands of disks.
Phillips tech support reports "known" problems with Memorex disks.
None of these efforts have improved on our success rate.
Anyone else experiencing, or solving such problems?
