  1. i remember seeing on here some where about people having problems playing the terminator 2 special addition on standalone dvd players. i tried the search for info but it came up with only a couple things that had nothing to do with it. i have the apex ad-600a. i am just curious if i am correct about the special edition having problems. my friend just bought it and we are watching it continously skip. the disk is brand new and i tried other dvd's and they work fine. thanks for any responses....

  2. Check my post under this topic:

I doubt an upgrade could fix it but who knows. If I had the chance I would trade it in for a Pioneer model, judging what others are saying about it.

A bit off topic, does your Apex glitch sometimes to homemade VCDs? My DVDtoVCD rips play fine, but when it comes to some I've made from video tapes through my capture card, they're real sensitive and glitchy at times. I hope it's not the same with a Pioneer model.
