I've installed my ATI All In Wonder Card in my case, then when I boot up my computer just restarts over and over. Is there something wrong with the card or do I have to upgrade my motherboard maybe. Once I got to install the drivers but everytime it kept re booting itself. Sometime I can finish installing them.

To put it simply; my memory was f*cked.

EDIT: Hang on, you only have a 450 processor?
You must have an old motherboard then?
I'd check in the mb manual if I was you, some of the newer cards need a certain PCI slot type to run.
I'm no expert but I think it's something to do with the BUS (and I don't mean the No. 77 that takes you disco-dancing on a weekend).

Yes, it's bus mastering or something similar where the card can take over since it does quite a bit to run the TV etc. Such an older system may well not have it, 400 MHz was around the border time for it being there or not..

And of course there are all your settings in CMOS, they could stand checking since most PCI boards have plenty of minor options.

  10. I agree; your system is very old. It also may be an irq conflict. Are you trying to run both video cards at the same time?

    no just the ati.

Have you tried re-installing your old card, to make sure it is the ATI?
That's the only way you'll know for sure.
