I captured video and audio from my video camera. I unlinked the audio from from the video and removed the audio from my project. Now that I am done editing the video I have decided that I would like to have some of the audio back. Is there a way I can click on the video and restore the audio? I would like this to be as painless as possible.

No. It will be painful.
The best thing for you to do was keep your video and audio together, edit your project and THEN remove the audio you did not want. Synching audio to video is miserable.
