  1. Using Pinnacle studio I had a dog of a time with my menu creation. Here is what I had and what I resorted to. What I need to know is a way to "unclutter" my menu.

What I have - 21 chapters each has a link to the menu each "chapter" is one episode. The last chapter on the DVD has a return to menu link on it at the end of the 21rst chapter.

Looking at a timeline it looks like this

    Intro,Menu,C1,C2,C3,C4,C5,C6,C7,C8,C9,C10,C11,C12, C13,C14,C15,C16,C17,C18,C19,C20,C21Return to Menu

When I go into the menu I now have to place the buttons. What I did this time was place 21 buttons on one screen and labels next to the menu buttons. As you can imagine it was VERY cluttered even at 10 point font and shrunken buttons it felt non user friendly.

Now I noticed if you went down to say 7 buttons it went to a number 3 at the bottom right and you could cycle between 1-2-and 3 BUT and here is the part I can't figure out The wording on 1 and 2 and 3 is all the same (so I can't change an episode title next to the button)

I.E. here is and example of how it looks currently - The Episode portion is a typed in name of the actual episode the C1 is the chapter it is linked to.

    Menu

    < C1, Episode1 < C2,Episode2
    < C3, Episode3 < C4,Episode4
    < C5, Episode5 < C6,Episode6
    < C7, Episode7 < C7,Episode7
    < C8, Episode8 < C9,Episode9
    < C10, Episode10 < C11,Episode11

and so fourth all on one screen and scrunched into a small area-

Here is how I want it to look -

    Menu1
    < C1, Episode1 < C2,Episode2
    < C3, Episode3 < C4,Episode4
    < C5, Episode5 < C6,Episode6
    Next Previous
    Menu2
    < C7, Episode7 < C7,Episode7
    < C8, Episode8 < C9,Episode9
    < C10, Episode10 < C11,Episode11
    netx Previous
    Menu3 and so on

When I attempt I can get the 1-2-3 and the Chapters to correspond with the 1-2-3 but I cant get the typed in Episode information to follow.

If anyone needs clarification I would be more than happy to post some screen prints as well.
