  1. I have TMPEGenc v2.5 and the MPEG plug in .

When I try to use Memories on TV and burn to DVD, I get the error that the MPEG 2 module of MoTV is not installed.

The Advanced settings in MoTV is set to use TMPEGenc and the path to the exe is correct, but I can't get rid of the error message above and start to burn the disk.

Any ideas would be much appreciated as I want to get the disk out for an Xmas present.

    Thanks
    Pete.

  2. I don't know if you have to or not but I bought the mpeg2 plug-in and it works great.

  3. That's the point though.

I have the TMPEGenc MPEG plugin, not the Memories on TV one. The MoTV settings though don't seem to correctly link to TMPEGenc.

Has anyone out there used MoTV with TMPEGEnc with the encoder?

    Thanks
    Pete

  4. I hope you get it working I know I couldn't. I have TMPEGenc and TMPEGenc PLUS 2.5 with the mpeg2 plug-in and when I tried the trial of Memories On Tv I couldn't get it to work with mpeg 2. That's why when I bought it I bought it with the mpeg2 plug-in.
other than that I really like this program.

  5. I just took another look at Memories On TV. When you go to burn; click Advance Settings and check to see if TMpgEnc Encoder is checked. Also make sure the path to TMpgEnc Encoder is correct. I didn't see this when I was doing the trial. I just checked mine and it was set to native and the path to TMpgEnc Encoder was pointing to my free version that doesn't have mpeg2. Let me know if it works.

  6. OK - Update for you:

I checked the advanced settings and TMPGEnc is set as the preferred encoder.

BUT - Unless I download the MPEG2 trial encoder from Memories on TV, TMPGEnc will not load.

The problem is that MoTV has 'evaluation copy' across the movie once TMPGenc encodes the video.

Can anyone give me info on patching the MPEG plugin for MoTV? or how I can get this working without buying the plugin?

    Many thanks.
    Pete
