Hi...
When ever I attempt to convert any .flv video to any other file form, I am no longer able to actually find it. No matter where I save the new file to, the file never appears, though the progress shows the task as ''finished.'' It used to work, but after 4 conversions it stopped. Any ideas why?
I run a mac FYI...

- What does the ffmpegX Summary say on the left side, for the FLV file? Is it recognized? What are the video and audio parameters? (E.g. From: FLV; Video: flv, yuv420p, 320x240; Audio: mp3, 22050 Hz, stereo.)
- There should be a magnifying glass icon in the Progress window, after a successful conversion. Pressing that should open a Finder window showing your output file.
- If it finishes immediately, then it most likely failed. To diagnose that, post the log here, so other may have a look at it. The blue "i" icon pops up a new window with the log ("process information"). Possibly a fix/setting can be suggested.
