First, upgrade to DVD-Lab 1.3, it is very much improved. www.mediachance.com
Two, you cannot edit video in DVD-Lab, it is strictly an authoring tool.
There is currently no audio preview in DVD-Lab.
What I would suggest is that you take all your scenes and combine them in a video editing program (lots to choose from in the Tools Section). Here you can add transitions and make sure everything is correct.
Edit Studio 4 works well with DVD-Lab and there is a free 30 day trial version available for download. www.puremotion.com
Hope this helps.--
