I captured a video I have using Studio DV. Due to the size limit of files to 4 GB, I captured this video in two segments. I captured the first 15 minutes, and then the rest afterwards.
Last night I encoded the first having as SVCD using high quality and 2pass. Roughly 15 seconds left of video, an error occurred (tmpgenc complained about there being an audio error). Anyhow, it took over nine hours to encode, so I don't want to have to reencode this all to fix this. I'm guessing that there is an issue with where the capture file ended. Is there a way that I can, after I finish the second half of the movie, I can piece these together as one movie and fix the audio? I was considering recapturing a segment of the video (say from 14 minutes to 16 minutes) and converting that, removing the end of the first half, and the beginning of the second, and then splicing it together with the new segment.
Can this be done? Or does anyone have any better suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!
