Hi,
I play BluRay movies from my NeoTV550 network player (via a server). I do this for convenience as I have lots of discs.
I've noticed that if there's any kind of problem with the rip (dirty disc etc), you only find out about it while you're watching the ripped movie. Sometimes the movie continues after a small judder, sometimes with out of sync audio, sometimes not at all.
This is a real pain, as it takes about an hour to clean the disc again and re-rip it. The movie experience is lost.
Question: is there any program that will scan a m2ts file structure for errors, and or fix them?
Even if the errors cannot be fixed, at least I'd know before watching the movie, and I could re-rip the disc before play.
Using DVDFabHD, but it's not a software problem. I've noticed that Blu-Ray discs are much more prone to corrupt data then DVDs.
Thanks.

Cypheros TS-Doctor, Transport Stream Packet Editor, VideoReDo can scan and repair m2ts or ts file. However, don't expect miracles if the file has A/V discontinuities.
