I've been converting a few .mkv files to WMV-HD and have noticed a few problems. I've got the newest version of Xpress, 4.7.3.292 and what I think to be good enough codecs. I've got the latest DivX 7 codec and am using that for the conversion of my HD video. I convert videos to about 2500-3000kbps in the 720p range so as not to be too large in size. The problem that I'm noticing though is that it seems about 10% of the videos I convert seem to become choppy and stutter towards the end of the videos. It's usually on the last 20-30 minutes that it does this as well. I've watched the .mkv file and it was fine, and I've also converted it to .mp4 using Handbrake and it also came out fine there. Howevering, trying to convert the .mp4 to WMV-HD didn't work and it went back to stuttering. Does anyone know what the problem could be, because I'm at a total loss. Thanks in advance.

I would use HDConvertToX to convert the mkv directly to wmv hd.

Thanks, I'll give the new program a look, but I was hoping that this issue could be resolved within Xpress 4.0, as I've grown accustomed to it and would like to keep with one converter if at all possible.
