Was able to do two LVCD's succesfully from dvd'z. The quality rivaled divx, at 352x240, ntsc. played on my apex, no problem, even full screen on media player looked great. Smooth, audio was always in synch. no off synch on watching on tv. if i fast forward, on da pc,then play (slight off synch, fastforward again, it gets back in synch). ditto for the apex-1500. Both of these were smartripped to the hard drive before encode.
however, now after successfully, ripping two movies, and burning with nero,,, (updated to 5.5.0.4) and trying dvdx 1.4 to 1.5a, DvDx wont encode, from hard drive or dvdrom, it will start to encode and then stops after either 2 minutes, or 3 hours.usually 2 minutes...
i've tried all settings, that are available to tweak, detect 24 fps on and off, different bitrates, different framerates, etc, all. mpg1 and 2, standard compliant and x(s)vcds...and still wont encode, tried all the aforementioned versions on two different dvd's and two computers, to make sure it wasnt pc/codex related, under win98se and win2kPro (Freshly installed)...
Anyway, if anyone can assist, its much appreciated.
Great lil program though.
