  1. This pisses me off. What's the point of PowerDVD's Capture feature if it doesn't allow you to capture from DVD-roms!? What program can I do it with? There's a few movies I'd like to capture scenes from.

  3. Huh? Define DVD-ROM, because if you mean video DVDs played from a DVD-ROM then I think you're mistaken. What other video source would powerDVD have except for video DVDs played on DVD-ROM drives?

What exactly is the problem your having with powerDVD?

  4. The fuckin capture button is faded out.

I mean a typical DVD movie I pop into my drive, or the ISO of one, etc.

  5. Power DVD has always worked for me. I use the captures to make menus.

  7. i capture those stills via moviemaker or power vcr. ive recently been asked by a customer to capture a screen shot in high res so it could be made into a poster. needless to say the cap was way too low res. (320x 240) any ideas how i can get a hi res cap?

  8. Viper, turn off the hardware accelaration in the config under the video tab, then it will work. Also make sure it is saving it to a bmp or it just captures it to the clipboard.
