  1. Here's the problem I'm having. I made a backup of Sopranos with DVD Shrink 3 Beta 5. The menus are still pictures, the "Movie" folder was compressed with the "Automatic" setting (app 67%, or thereabouts). I did the "Deep Analysis" of the disk, and burned with Record Now MAX on Ritek at 2X. I was watching the backup to make sure everything was fine, and during one of the episodes, there was a significant amount of skipping - the disk would jump all of a sudden, usually pretty far ahead, like 10 minutes. Now, I can hit Rewind at 2X, get back to the point *right* after the jump (it always jumped at a specific point, I tried to rewind back beyond the jump and re-watch). After I got it back right after the point where it skipped, I could watch it normally. This happened about 4 times on 1 episode.
*Edit* D'oh, I should have mentioned the DVD player. It's a Samsung DVD-P401 with Progressive Scan. It's played everything I've thrown at it, and this is the first time I've encountered this skipping, and I can fast forward/rewind the problematic Sopranos disk up to 128x (the max for this DVD player)
Any one else have this problem? I tried the search, but couldn't find anything.
    Thanks for any info.

Are you playing it on an Apex DVD player?

I had the same problem with a movie about 4 movies ago on my Apex. It worked fine on other DVD players though. (I also couldn't FF or rewind any faster than 2x on the Apex, but could use all speeds on other players).
