    Downloaded and ran TMPGEnc but it won't let me open any .avi files, it comes up with an error saying that it cannont be opened or is unsupported?

    Please help me, its driving me insane!

    Go to settings and change the enviromental setting priorty

    In the enviramental settings raise the direct Show filter priority to +4.
