Hi, I recorded a few videos into my pc via Canapus ADVC-100, all went well until I came across one I recorded (Carry on Cleo) when I test play back in Window media 6.4, I see these horizontal lines, but I still carry on the process to convert and author to DVD, and play back is still the same basically in a stand alone apart from that the horizontal lines are now about an inch or 2 thick, they are not there all the time, only on moving scenes, even just a walking scene. I also use AVIsynth but am not that familiar with it, as I am trying to use the FixBrokenChromaUpsampling, but I have not succeeded using this filter, Hope someone will help me with problem I have and also give me an example on how to use the FixBrokenChromaUpsampling Filter.
    Thanks
    Maff

First - Don't use Winamp for testing mpg files. Use something like PowerDVD.

Those lines sound like interlacing, in which case they are supposed to be there. But you are not supposed to be seeing them on a DVD through a player (or in proper DVD software players), so there's a problem somewhere. Perhaps wrong field order?

You don't say anything about your capture, conversion, or authoring process, so it's impossible to guess where you may have gone wrong.
