  1. Hey all, I'm capturing video using LordSmurf's guide (which is very good I think). However, when I try to burn a DVD in EZ CD creator, it mentions that the video is not DVD compliant and may not play correctly, but add anyway? Also, a poster in one of my other questions:

    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=678338#678338

said my video may not be DVD compliant and that's why DVDit! wants to re-encode with a large file size. Has anyone else experienced this type of problem or is it a problem with my MPEG codec/encoder? I've followed LordSmurf's guide to the letter and the DVDs I have created in DVDit! play fine so I'm not sure.

  4. You didn't list what steps/settings you used, but glancing at Lord Smurf's site I suspect that the problem is you are using MP2 audio. The (NTSC) DVD standard only supports AC3 or PCM (uncompressed wav) audio. However, 95%+ of standalones will play MP2 audio anyway.

Not saying this is the problem (we need more info) but it sounds like a strong possibility.
