The programs 'TINRA' and 'EOVIDEO' (see the Tools Section) can convert 'RM' and 'RAM' files providing you have Real Media player installed on your system.

I don't have a sample of a 'RMVB' (Real Media Variable Bit) to test if these programs can convert them but try them anyway.

If they don't work, I've heard that the RMVB (Real Media Variable Bit) files may need the latest version of 'Real One' Player installed so try installing this if you don't already have it.

No problem. Eovideo will convert it directly to MPG (SVCD or VCD format), or you can use either program to convert the RMVB to an 'AVI' file and then use TMPGEnc to make an MPG file (VCD, SVCD or DVD) from the AVI.

I find you get a better quality MPG file if you convert the RM to AVI first and let TMPGEnc do the MPG conversion.

    So do this:
    1. Convert the RM to AVI using TINRA or EOVIDEO.
    2. Make a VCD file (MPG) from the AVI file using TMPGEnc.
    3. Burn the MPG CD as a VCD.

  7. Hi there!

I've tried to convert my .RMVB file with eo-video,
but the audio is totally out of sycn!

I tried using VirutalDub to delay the audio already, but it still doesn't help ...
I can sync one part of the movie, but then other parts are out of sync!

I converted it from .RMVB -> VCD MPEG1.

    Any suggestions?!

    Help!

  8. okie dokie peoples...

i have found away 2 do this... fist of all get rid of your real players...

    this is what you need:
    (1) real player alternative
    (2) codecs (these 2 you get from the kazaa lite web site and that is http://www.kazaalite.tk/
    (3) rawaverecoder
    (4) TMPGEnc

All you do is extract the audio using (3) then open (4) and well you know the rest... and there you go...

It works i was at my wits end till i tried this and now i'm happy... please if this works for you to please post this on other websites so everyone else can benifit from it...
