  1. I need help with a AVI movie im trying to convert to SVCD.
The aspect ratio of the film is 576 x 240 and when i convert it so it fits my 16:9 pal TV with tmpgenc at fullscreen it looks like the people is 4 meters tall what am i doing wrong????
i tried converting it using to NTSC 16:9 and it looks a little better (i think the movie is in NTSC) but they are still tall..
576x240 is 2.4:1 so there should be black bars on the top and bottom on my TV since its a 16:9 TV but i cant get it to work

    PLEASE HELP

Been a long time since I used TMPGEnc the last time, but I think there should be a "Keep Aspect Ratio" option there somewhere.

Press the settings button, then choose the advanced tab, and under "video arrange method" you'll find the options you need (I mean, as far as i know!).
