    When i first plugined in my Sony 510a, it searched for new hardware, but i accidently closed all unneed programs(the installing dvd durner was one of them.)

    At some point it was reconized as a DVD-R on my computer, but then it went to CD-Rom drive. It still burns but it does show up, i haven;t updated the firmware at all.

    Also i can;t get Nero to burn anything when that drive is installed, i tryed to change keys for a sony burner but no luck. thanx in advanced

    Go to www.nero.com and update to the latest version. It should recognize your drive afterwards.
