  1. Hi, someone please help. I want to burn a divx file to vcd but have a problem. The divx file has got compressed audio VBR. Tmpeg will do the video but not the audio. i used virtual dud to extrat audio to a wave the tried tempeg agin. This time it encoded both video and audio but the auido goes further and further out of sync as the file plays. I have tried various forams and as yet no one can help. Can YOU!!!!!!!
    Thanks Paul from London.

  2. Did you save it uncompressed using full processing mode. You should end up with a very large file, approx 10MB/min

  4. And you used the audio file as the source for audio in TMPGEnc.

  5. Got me stumped then, sorry.

The only other thing I could try and suggest would be to encode the video and audio seperately and then multiplex them, but this should not really make any difference.

You could try stretching or shrinking the audio using goldwave so that the duration matches that of the video file. Presumably the audio stream is either longer or shorter than the video stream.
